Windows XP From USB Flash



If you want to install Windows XP from a USB flash drive, there are some third party applications available, like WinToFlash, these applications will surely be able to create a bootable USB flash drive is too complicated and WinToFlash will ask you to install an add-on into your browser (some kind of adware - please read the FAQ). When you are too lazy to follow Komku USB or WinToFlash guide, WinSetupFromUSB can come to the rescue.

WinSetupFromUSB is a small sofware developed by Ilko_t. You can create a bootable USB Flash Drive to install Windows XP easily. No installation is needed, just double click the exe file and you're ready to go.

Please follow the steps below to create a bootable Windows XP USB flash drive installer using WinSetupFromUSB

Step 1:
UPDATE 20.Dec.2013: Download WinSetupFromUSB 1.2 from these links:

WinSetupFromUSB-1-2.exe (22MB - Ver 1.2)

Step 2:
Extract it > Open WinSetupFromUSB_1-2.exe 
or 
WinSetupFromUSB_1-2_x64.exe











Step 3:
Select a USB Flash Dive> Check on "Auto Format it with FBINST" > Browse for the Optical Drive Containing the Windows XP Setup CD> Click GO




Step 4:
Your Windows XP USB flash Drive Installer is ready to use now. Yes it's as that. Where you want to use flash drive to install windows XP. Make sure you change the boot order in Bios (USB Flash drive as the first boot option).
